What is BROKEN Clock Brewing Cooperative?
At Broken Clock Brewing, we believe that being a brew cooperative is bigger than just brewing great beer. We aspire to make a difference by empowering people, inspiring passion, and fostering collaboration in our community. Being a cooperative means that we put the needs of the community ahead of the bottom line.
BROKEN CLOCK NEWS
We’re moving our production and taproom to the incredible location of 1712 Marshall Street Northeast Minneapolis, Minnesota. This Riverfront location is 1.5 miles south from our current location, and we will now be the only Minnesota brewery to be on the Mississippi River and one of only two in the country.
This new location provides better visibility and more interior space, which allows us to have a private event space, larger taproom, and a larger production space. The current brewhouse is one of the smallest production spaces (750sq ft) in the area and this new space will allow for a larger brewhouse with a new, state of the art 15-barrel system, compared to our current 5-barrel system.
This new location provides ample parking with increased visibility as it is located on a main thoroughfare (Marshall Street) and includes nearby businesses such as Psycho Suzie’s, Fletcher’s Ice Cream, Betty Dangers, the Food Building (Kieran’s Kitchen), the Sample Room, and Dusty’s.
The Marshall location allows us to grow as a cooperative business while remaining in the community where we began. The new taproom is set to open in Fall 2022.
